Louisville Indoor Games

General Information
The Louisville Indoors Games will be held on Jan. 24, 2026, at the Norton Sports Health & Learning Center. Use the address below to find the venue using GPS:

Doors will open at 7 a.m. for coach and athlete check-in at the South 30th Street entrance. The meet begins at 9 a.m. and will have a rolling schedule.

Registration
Opens: Nov. 19, 2025
Closes: Jan. 21, 2026, at 9 p.m.
Cost: $15 per individual athlete entry; $50 per relay team entry

NOTE: All registration fees must be paid no later than Jan. 17, 2026, to confirm your athlete(s) participation. There are NO REFUNDS.

Athletes are allowed to compete in a maximum of four events. Race seeding will be posted in warm-up lanes near the clerking area after event declarations; race seed times and marks must be verified for seeding purposes.

Sanctioning
The Louisville Indoor Games is USATF-Certified.

Age Categories
The meet is open to high school athletes in grades nine through 12.

The preferred hotel is the Holiday Inn Express located at 800 W. Market Street, Louisville, Ky., 40202

Coaches
Coaches are not permitted on the competition floor during the meet; wristband credentials are required to enter the backstretch and mezzanine area.

Credentials will be provided at team check-in. The number of credentials provided is based on the number of registered athletes on a team as follows: 2-5 athletes – 1 credential; 6-10 athletes – 2 credentials; 11-15 athletes – 3 credentials; 16+ athletes – 4 credentials.

NOTE: Only one coach credential will be provided for unattached athletes.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup opens at 7 a.m. on meet day in the mezzanine area.

Spectators
Admission is $15 per person for an all-day pass; children 10 and under are free. To pre-purchase tickets, click HERE.

Parking
There is limited bus parking along 30th Street and at 3000 West Market St. A surface parking lot is available on W. Muhammad Ali Blvd. for all other athletes and spectators. The cost to park in the lot is $10 per car.

NOTE: Running events have a rolling schedule; athletes must check in by the final call.

Spikes
Only ¼” pyramid spikes are allowed on the Mondo indoor track surface. Spikes will be checked and tagged upon entry and before stepping on the competition floor.

Order of Field Events

9 a.m. – Girls’ long jump (both pits) and girls’ pole vault

12 p.m. – Boys’ shot put, boys’ long jump (both pits), boys’ pole vault and girls’ high jump

3 p.m. – Boys’ high jump, girls’ shot put and triple jump (boys’ on one pit, girls’ on the other)

Implements
Athletes must bring their own implements, which must be inspected before the start of the event. Meet management will not provide any implements.

Timing
Can’t Stop Running Co. is the official timer.

Fine Designs will be on-site with customizable meet apparel.

Team Camps

Teams can gather in the mezzanine area as well as the bleachers along the 30th Street side of the building.

Safety Policy
Spikes are only allowed in the competition area.

Hydration
Multiple water fountains and refill stations are located inside the venue. Athletes are encouraged to bring refillable bottles.

Medical
Norton Sports Health will have medical staff at the finish area. If your team has a trainer, they can be outside the standard meet area per normal meet protocols. If a medical emergency occurs, team trainers will be allowed into the medical area to assist with their school’s athlete. 

Awards
Awards will be available starting at approximately 11 a.m. for the top three male and female finishers in each event once results are official.

Pre-Race Guidelines
Athletes can declare anytime, up to five minutes before the start of their event.

Athletes should arrive at the clerking area race-ready: bib numbers must be on the front of their uniform and clearly visible; hip/lane numbers (if applicable) should be worn on the left chest and left hip, clearly visible and not obstructed by the athletes’ uniform.

The facility does not permit outside food or drink for athletes; additionally, only water is allowed on the competition floor.

Electronic devices, including cell phones, are not permitted in the competition area.

Athletes’ bags will be searched and tagged upon entry to the facility, no exceptions.

Chewing gum is not permitted on the indoor or outdoor track.

Post-Race Guidelines
As athletes finish their event, they should promptly move through the finish line and exit the competition area.
