Winners Announced for the Louisville Pure Tap® 5k

Louisville, Ky. – With 750 registered participants, the sold-out Louisville Pure Tap® 5K took place this morning under warm, sunny conditions at the Louisville Water Tower, home of Louisville’s award-winning drinking water.

Participants started and finished at the Water Tower and followed a course that traveled east and west along River Road.

Ethan Meyer of Louisville won the men’s division with a time of 15:25, finishing ahead of Dawayad Paul of Louisville, who placed second in 15:34. David Grieshaber of Louisville rounded out the top three in 15:47.

Maria Galvin of Louisville won the women’s division in 18:45, followed by Hannah Yates of Louisville in 19:31 and Victoria Thompson of Louisville in 19:34.

Brock Mitchem of Louisville won the wheelchair division in 24:31, while Demeter Castillo of Louisville won the non-binary division in 38:28.

Participants were also invited to bring their dogs to take part in the race. Proceeds from all dog registrations benefited Friends of Metro Animal Services.
