Louisville, Ky. – August 23, 2025 – With more than 750 registered participants, the sold-out Louisville Pure Tap® 5K went off this morning under warm, sunny conditions at race start. Race participants started and finished at the Louisville Water Tower, home of Louisville’s award-winning drinking water, and followed a course that ran east and west on River Road.

Paul Dawayad of Louisville, Ky., won the men’s division in a time of 16:12, ahead of second-place finisher Brandon Page of Louisville, Ky., who clocked a time of 16.34. Kyra Pretre of Redwood City, Calif., won the women’s division in 17:28, beating Flannery Musk of Louisville, Ky., who finished in 18:14. Anne Dospil of Louisville, Ky., won the non-binary division in 52:14.

• First Place: Paul Dawayad of Louisville, Ky., with a time of 16:12
• Second Place: Brandon Page of Louisville, Ky., with a time of 16.34

WOMEN’S DIVISION
• First Place: Kyra Pretre of Redwood City, Calif., with a time of 17:28
• Second Place: Flannery Musk of Louisville, Ky., with a time of 18:14
• Third Place: Maria Galvin of Louisville, Ky., with a time of 18:47

Race participants were invited to bring their dogs to join them. Proceeds from all dog registrations were donated to Friends of Metro Animal Services.
