Let our operations team be the liaison between your event team and local agencies, facilities operators and other entities that impact the success of your event. Examples of operational support include the following:
- Assist in organizing and overseeing the Local Organizing Committee (LOC)
- Participate in on-site event management when needed
- Obtain permits and/or venue contracts
- Help recruit volunteers
MARKETING & PR
We’re ready to provide promotional support in order to help create awareness about your event in the Louisville region. Examples of marketing and PR assistance include the following:
- Assist with local non-paid media coverage
- Coordinate and distribute event press releases to area media
- Build awareness via grassroots outreach
- Support your social media efforts by posting across LSC platforms
- Include event in upcoming events section of the LSC’s website
SPONSORSHIPS
Every event has different needs, and every community has different sponsorship opportunities. The Louisville Sports Commission can help you understand the local economy and provide advice on our corporate giving landscape so you are well-informed on the best approach for contacting potential sponsors.
Destination Services
Louisville Tourism’s Services Team is dedicated to providing you with a superior level of service to make your visit to Louisville a success. Examples of the services you may receive include:
- Housing services powered by Meeting Max that is available 24/7 via a customized group website
- Louisville planning visit coordination and logistics
- Off-site event venue selection
- Convention/Event Resumes sent out to all city partners
- Welcome program that may include airport welcome message, downtown pole banners and social media posts
- Official visitor guides, city maps and restaurant information
