The 18th Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic will be contested at E.P “Tom” Sawyer State Park, which is the site of multiple NAIA National Championships, BIG EAST Conference Championships, NCAA Division I, DII and DIII and the 2017 ACC Cross Country Championships.
Centered around the historic Ohio River, Louisville is one of the most vibrant IRONMAN venues on the circuit. Since it was first held in Louisville, Kentucky in 2007, this race quickly became a signature event for our charm-filled city.
The Kentucky Muscle Strength & Fitness Extravaganza will include IFBB Pro Figure, IFBB Pro Men’s Physique, NPC Bikini, NPC Figure, NPC Physique, NPC Classic Physique, NPC Bodybuilding, NPC Collegiate Bikini and Men’s Physique, U.S. Armwrestling, Downtown Throwdown, Kentucky’s Strongest Man and Woman, and Powerlifting.
The Urban Bourbon Half Marathon is an experiential destination event that starts and finishes in downtown Louisville and offers a route that showcases one of Louisville’s most scenic parks. The race includes the Urban Bourbon Bash, a post-race party includes a high-end bourbon tasting, beer, pizza and music by the Louisville Crashers.
The 2019 KHSAA State Volleyball Tournament will be held at J.C. Cantrell Gymnasium on the campus of Valley High School Action begins at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Quarterfinal action picks up Saturday morning at 10 a.m., with the semifinals starting at 7 p.m. that night. Sunday’s championship match is set for 2 p.m.
