Louisville, Ky. – December 11, 2019 – University of Kentucky junior Lynn Bowden Jr., a prolific all-purpose receiver and return specialist who led the Wildcats to a 5-2 record while filling in at quarterback, has been named winner of the 10th annual Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse. Four Offensive Players / Returns Specialists Named 2019 Paul Hornung Award Finalists

Louisville, Ky. – November 14, 2019 – Three wide receiver / return specialists, including one who is subbing fulltime at quarterback, and a workhorse running back / kick returner have been named 2019 Paul Hornung Award Finalists. The 10th annual Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse is given annually by the Louisville Sports Commission to the most versatile player in major college football. Chosen as finalists by a 17-member Selection Committee are: Lynn Bowden Jr. (Kentucky), Clyde Edwards-Helaire, (LSU); Joe Reed (Virginia) and Wan’Dale Robinson (Nebraska).

WEEK 11: Three Skill Position Players Earn Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll

Louisville, Ky. – November 11, 2019 – Three skill position players who made contributions in their teams’ wins in conference play were named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll in week 11 of the college football season: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, LSU running back/kick returner; James Proche, SMU wide receiver/punt returner; and Amon-Ra St. Brown, USC wide receiver and punt returner.

The Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse, now in its 10th season, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football by the Louisville Sports Commission and football legend and Louisville native Paul Hornung. The winner and his family will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award dinner at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville on March 4, 2020.
