PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED AT ASSUMPTION HIGH SCHOOL TO ANNOUNCE THE RETURN OF THE AVP CROCS TOUR LOUISVILLE OPEN

LOUISVILLE, KY (Feb. 19, 2008) - Please join hosts Mayor Jerry Abramson, the Greater Louisville Sports Commission and the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption High School to announce the return of the AVP Crocs Tour Louisville Open, taking place over Memorial Day weekend. Members of the media are invited to attend the event that will feature current AVP pro beach volleyball players, tour officials and key members of the business and volleyball communities.

What:

The announcement of the return of the AVP Crocs Tour Louisville Open at one of the most prominent volleyball schools in the country. The Assumption High School defending state championship team and student body will be present to celebrate the return of pro beach volleyball. Information pertaining to ticket sales and schedules will also be announced. City officials, business community members, and pro beach volleyball athletes and sports property representatives will be available for interviews.
