Greater Louisville Sports Commission FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Louisville to host the nation's top All-American prep basketball playersLOUISVILLE, Ky. - The nation's top All-American prep basketball players are coming to Louisville Feb. 16! The Neutral Zone Hoops Showcase tips-off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Louisville Gardens. Future Louisville Cardinal Samardo Samuels leads St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.) against New Creations (Indianapolis, Ind.) in the opening game. Samuels, ranked as the No. 3 player in America, is a dominating force inside with his 6-9 frame. The nation's top-ranked player Tyreke Evans and future Louisville Cardinal point guard Lamont Jones will headline the 8:30 p.m. game as American Christian School (Aston, Pa.) battles Findlay Prep (Las Vegas, Nev.). Findlay Prep, arguably the overall most talented in the country, is led by future Kentucky Wildcat DeAndre Liggins in addition to four other seniors who will play next season at Florida State, UNLV, New Mexico and Cal State Fullerton. Tickets are now available at the Neutral Zone at 117/227 Blankenbaker Parkway in Louisville or can be purchased online at www.game-seven.com. General Admission seats are $10; Reserved Seating tickets are $25; and a limited number of courtside seats are available for $75.
