Louisville hosting 2008 USA Diving Jr. Spring Region IV

LOUISVILLE, KY- The 2008 USA Diving Jr. Spring Region IV competition will be held at the Ralph Wright Natatorium this weekend, March 21-23.

WHAT: USA Diving is one of the most prestigious governing bodies for platform and springboard diving competitions. The regional championships draw some of the most talented divers from Kentucky , Indiana , Ohio and Michigan.Top qualifiers from this event will advance to compete in the Spring East National Championships held in Rockville , Maryland.

WHO: The premier athletes in attendance will include Jessica Lyden (17) and Rebecca Hampton (14) who are both former age group USA Diving national champions. There will be five other divers competing who have previously reached the title of USA Diving Jr. National Finalist.

WHEN: Begins noon, Friday, March 21-23. Saturday and Sunday's events begin at 9 a.m.
