May-Treanor and Walsh defeated seventh-seeds Holly McPeak and Logan Tom 21-14, 21-12 to win the first-ever women's title in Louisville. With the win, May-Treanor recorded her 74th career title; Walsh her 71st. The duo defeated fourth-seeds Dianne DeNecochea and Barbra Fontana 21-17, 21-14 earlier on Sunday en route to the finals. "This was the first's women's championship in Louisville, so that's really special for us to win," said Walsh. McPeak and Tom advanced to Sunday's final following a three-game 21-19, 19-21, 17-15 win over third-seeds Tyra Turner and Rachel Wacholder earlier in the day. It was a career-best for Tom, playing in her first-ever final on the AVP Crocs Tour. "Logan is a wonderful athlete, so fiery," said Walsh. "This is just the beginning for her." On the men's side, Dalhausser and Rogers defeated second-seeded Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal 21-18, 21-16 for the championship title. With the win, Dalhausser and Rogers notched their 14th team title and their fifth in six events this season. They defeated sixth-seeds Casey Jennings and Mark Williams 21-14, 21-13 earlier on Sunday en route to the finals. "I felt pretty good on defense," said Dalhausser, who pulled out two key blocks in the match. "I think that's when we pulled ahead - good blocking." Gibb and Rosenthal, now finalists in five of the six events this season, advanced to Sunday's final with a hard-fought 21-18, 18-21,15-12 win over fifth-seeds Dax Holdren and Kevin Wong.
