Louisville Sports Commission Half Marathon and Louisville pure tap® 5K winners announced
Winners Announced for
Inaugural Louisville Sports Commission Half Marathon,
Anthem Corporate Challenge and Louisville pure tap® 5K
Louisville, KY – November 12, 2011 – With more than 3,000 registered participants, the inaugural Louisville Sports Commission Half Marathon and Louisville pure tap® 5K went off this morning under cool and dry fall weather conditions. Ryan Althaus of Louisville, Ky., won the men's Half Marathon in a time of 1:18:14.81, beating second-place finisher Christan Stewart of LaGrange, Ky., who clocked a time of 1:19:19.80. Jennifer Osterhage of Lexington, Ky., won the women’s Half Marathon in 1:26:36.23, edging Lauren Mitchell of Louisville, Ky., who finished in 1:27:36.20.
In the 15-team Anthem Corporate Challenge, Chrysalis Ventures Team 1 finished first in a total time of 4:30:05.10; Chrysalis Ventures Team 2 finished second in 5:19:15.82.
In the Louisville pure tap® 5K, Christopher Karpin of Saukville, Wis., won the men's division in a time of 17:33.12, beating second-place finisher Zachary Doebbler of Georgetown, Ind., who clocked a time of 17:56.78. Mary Glover of Louisville, Ky., won the women’s division in 20:49.37, edging Brie Fleming of New Albany, Ind., who finished in 23:11.78.

First Place: Ryan Althaus of Louisville, Ky. with a time of 1:18:14.81.

WOMEN'S DIVISION
First Place: Jennifer Osterhage of Lexington, Ky. with a time of 1:26:36.23
Second Place: Lauren Mitchell of Louisville, Ky. with a time of 1:27:36.20
Third Place: Karen Cortez of Louisville, Ky. with a time of 1:29:51.18
